Her head lay perfectly still, taking up only the surface area of my upturned fingers. Utterly trusting. Completely letting go.
We shared a lifetime of precious moments. Golden affection dipped in love and wrapped with understanding. My cat was fused with my calling, walking beside me as a spiritual companion that showered me in the only unconditional love I'd ever known.
The animals remind us—we are one with all that is. They teach us peace. Guide us to compassion. Inspire spontaneous joy. Unveil all that's temporary and simultaneously eternal.
